Action for Sustainable Development (ASD), Nature Crest builds on more than a decade of experience in developing and implementing sustainable forestry projects.

Given the remarkably low implementation rates of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and the insufficient flow of climate finance to African countries, which contrasts sharply with the continent's significant potential for carbon projects, our founders recognised a critical time to intervene.

Using their extensive experience and global network, together with a dedicated team, they aim to develop and support stakeholders in the implementation of high-integrity nature-based solutions (NBS) carbon projects. These initiatives are designed not only to secure funding for high-impact climate action, but also to create lasting positive impacts in local communities across Africa.

The expansion of high integrity carbon projects across Africa is critical to the global fight against climate change. In addition, these projects provide organisations with practical options for offsetting their hard-to-abate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
